The alfa gets a 170 without the other catagory.
270 with it filled out.

Both my Preludes scored a 66. Each.

-905 for my 3rd gen f-body because 20 years ago my "friend" peeled off the "no fear" sticker from his pager and slapped it on the corner of my windshield. I'm too lazy to take it off.

165 for both the ‘93 F150 and the ‘69 Vette

121 for the MIATATATATAAAAAAA

My 733i got 165. No cupholders means no minus in the “other” category. And +20 for 4 ashtrays.
![]() 08/15/2016 at 16:59 |

My Tacoma got a 26. I feel cheated that I had to check the box for “four door”. That doesn’t seem fair to the truck.

I hadn’t scored the giant Lincoln before, so I took the opportunity. 160. There are no extra points for pillarless, sadly. The biggest takeaway is that I need to convert the engine to Super Marauder spec, because that pushes it to 195. Both are scored without the “other” category, which would have me up another 20 points because of four ashtrays.
The Ranchero scores north of 400, depending how I answer.

My miata got an 81!

Daily driver ‘00 Peugeot 406 coupe: 150 if mixed origin (French car designed/built by Italians in Italy), 100 if just French.
‘88 Peugeot 205 GTi: 100
‘87 Peugeot 205 CTi: 105
‘91 VW Golf: 65
Company car ‘13 Focus (wagon, diesel, manual): 20
The Peugeot I just sold last week: 90
The hydropneumatic Citroën I sold last year (despite the -20 for the NA euro-diesel): 125
The highest horesepower car of this lot has 138 hp, so I got 0 or 5 (Golf, Citroën) as pity points.

S10 scored a 133, which isn't too bad.

65, but 50 of these are because it’s French, which I’m not sure is fair given I live in France. I love it anyways, you guys.

I think those just factor into the horsepower?

The Mazda3 gets 6 and that’s fucking BULLSHIT I hope Hulk Hogan sues the Jalopmeter too.
However if I add in the quasi-bottle holders in the doors as cupholders I get -14 and I can cope with that.
![]() 08/15/2016 at 17:10 |

oh dang! I should +5hp for each sticker, me dumb

40 points. (Or 38 if country of origin is factory location (The Netherlands) rather than company location (Sweden)).
31-45 points: It’s no Hoondai Sonata, but it’s pretty good.
I guess that’s ok?

My E90 got 160, but it’d only let me go up to 5 throttle bodies.

Man, someone needs to update the jalopometer!
I got 180. A section for modifications and wrenching needs to be added. Would dents and battle damage be a (+) or a (-)?

Subaru WRX - 86 points
Mazda B3000 - 99 points
I want to know why I didn’t get a multi-car bonus!

210 on the Chevelle. The three ashtrays helped a lot.
135 on the Crown Vic. I counted fiberglass as bondo.

140 for the Roadmaster. Not bad, but I thought it’d be better.

I will ignore the “other” section like you, then.
GTO: 225
Outback: 46
Colorado: 150 (That was a surprise. I think because I put suicide doors?)
Fiero SE: 113
Did them in the order of when I purchased them. I think that some of it is bs...

Meepster:
-70 points.
That’s after a 135 point penalty for having a front-drive crossover with two cupholders. Despite the fact that it’s a manual, turbo, base model.

....I got a score of 15? :P

Just stumbled on this looking for a good picture of the outside of the ‘Vette. Great car by the way.
My scores are:
DD: 2003 325xi wagon 5 speed = 95 points. not bad?
Other: 1961 Ford F100 4x4 pickup = 190 points. but I think I’d get more if there was a field where you could select “number of pieces of old firefighting equipment mounted to outside of body”

Your old Ford truck is a complete win in my books. love that thing.

Thanks, I love it too. The Jalop-meter needs more allowance for “character.” Like,
“If you robbed a bank in your car, how many other people in your area would be stopped by police for having a matching vehicle?”
Clearly more points for a lower number.

That’s a good question. Maybe it needs recalibrating haha it’s also slanted against trucks/SUV’s.
